Saturday October 11, 2008 we attended the annual Columbus Day Parade in downtown Rochester. The parade was a success. Hundreds of people, many pushing strollers and holding babies, lined Main Street waving red, white and green flags and balloons for the 2nd annual parade. Others sat along the sidewalks on the warm, sunny autumn morning, sipping drinks, cheering, and eating Italian sausage sandwiches.

Our school marched in the parade together with the group of the Italian American Community Center. We really had a wonderful day, especially the kids. We look forward to be in the parade again next year. Please check our Photo Gallery for pictures taken at the parade.
