Italian Language Courses

"Mommy/Daddy and Me" (12 months - 2 yrs)
Musical activities include singing, dancing and playing simple percussive instruments.

Toddlers (3-5yrs)
More music, games, and songs with the addition of visual materials, craft activities and stories.

Programs for students 6ys and older

For students of age ranging from 6 and older, the following programs are offered. Please note that each class may have students of different levels. However, within the class the students will be divided in group, with a teacher for each group. At the end of each class the groups will join together in activities, singing, and games. It is our opinion that in this way the more advanced students may improve their communication skills by "mentoring" to the beginner students. Similarly, the beginner students may feel more comfortable to learn and communicate in Italian with students of similar age.

Beginner I
This level is for student who has little or no previous experience in the Italian language. The children will be introduced to basic conversional Italian.

Beginner II
The student is able to understand and respond to very basic conversational situations. Students learn in a small, attentive and fun class through a variety of interactive programs. In this class the students will be also introduced to read and write in Italian. 

Intermediate I
The student has considerable background experience in Italian. The student can speak using the present, past and future tenses. In this class the students will practice more reading and writing in Italian

Intermediate II
The student is able to express and understand ideas in detail on a variety of topics. He or she may not understand rapid, colloquial speech.
